The Computer Engineering Department at San José State University is pleased to announce a search for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in January or August 2027. Areas of particular interest include embedded systems, computer architecture, SOC and ASIC design, artificial intelligence and machine learning, computer vision, embodied AI, cybersecurity, cyber-physical systems, cloud computing, software design, and engineering/computing education, but other related areas will also be considered.

Compensation: Commensurate with qualifications, experience, and rank as established by the CSU Salary Schedule. Anticipated hiring academic year annual salary range: $106,000-$126,000.
